LeAnn Rimes "And it Feels Like"

This is country/adult contemporary singer LeAnn Rimes' new video. This song, from the excellent CD "Whatever We Wanna" is not expected to be released in the US. So enjoy it, kids.

Also, there is a song on this CD called "Headphones" that I predict is going to blow up the British charts. It's that good. I predict that Curb records will decide to at least release Headphones in the US as a dance single. It could be this decade's Believe (Cher).

Oh, and LeAnn's current country CD, This Woman, is also excellent.

New Music Video From David "The Hoff" Hasselhoff - "Jump In My Car"

That's right, it's Hofficial... your favourite cult icon wants to take you home! The one and only David Hasselhoff of "Bay Watch" and "Knight Rider" fame returns with a cover of the 1975 classic 'Jump In My Car' and its a doozy. Recorded in Sydney last year with the legendary Harry Vanda (AC/DC, The Angels), the Ted Mulry Gang tune has been re-vamped with full Hoff gusto and this music video promises to rock the socks off all his Hofficial fans. Smoking on the Muppet Show? How 70s!

In this age of "protecting the children", I couldn't resist linking to this clip of Liza Minnelli smoking on The Muppet Show. Today, the world would stop turning if such a thing happened.

I think her greater sin is trying to out-cheese Barry Manillow on Copacabana. I think she succeeded.

Liza goes Pop! Don't Drop Bombs

Let's just be honest: This video is terrible. But the song is so cheesy, it's killer good. Can you believe this woman is an Academy Award winner???? (And if you haven't seen Cabaret, you really need to see how talented Liza was in her prime. She deserved that Oscar.)

Needless to say, I loved, loved, loved Liza's dance/pop CD Results. She worked with the Pet Shop Boys and the results were really great. But only those wacky Europeans seemed to appreciate the campy genious of it all. So, Results flopped here in the US.

Thank God for Youtube! Now we can see all the music videos from Liza in her Pop/Dance mode. And don't think I'm the only person who loves this CD.

Girl Fight Tonight by Julie Brown

I loved Julie Brown in the 80s. She was fabulous.

Her songs, videos and MTV show Just Say Julie were one of my favorite past times as a teen. In fact, I wanted to have a show called Just Ask Eddie! I wanted to perform funny ditties. I wanted to act crazy.

Girl Fight Tonight is a wonderful song off Julie's Trapped in the Body of a White Girl CD. Of couse I spent years repeating lines like "I'm a lover and a fighter, BITCH!" and "I'm gonna kick her blonde butt! Get her!"

I have to admit that I still use one line from this song -- a lot! But you'll have to figure out which one.

Eddie's spin on the video: Turn around bright eyes... When college jocks get lonely and bored. This video is so homoerotic that I had to post it. It's also one of my favorite songs of all time. You just can't go wrong with Bonnie Tyler and Jim Steinman's classic "Total Eclipse of the Heart." And when you add hot college boys to the mix, it tastes even better. Now why would three hot college guys take their shirts off and dance around thieir rooms singing an 80s power ballad? If you have an explanation or just want to spread rumors about these guys, please post a comment. I'd write my own porn-ish story to explain this video (like how I shot the video from own bedroom!), but I'm too busy watching these guys work the dorm room to make up such fantasies.
